In the heart of Northeast Texas, there's a charming little farmhouse that has weathered countless storms, much like the resilient souls who've called it home over the years. This idyllic retreat is where my dreams take flight, and creativity dances with the gentle breeze that rustles through the ancient oak trees. It's here, in this rustic sanctuary, that I live and breathe as an artist.
One dewy morning, as the sun lazily peeked over the horizon, casting its warm golden glow upon the pastures, I found myself utterly inspired. My trusty easel and canvases, adorned with the vibrant residue of countless creations, were set up near the farmhouse window. The view outside was a masterpiece of its own: horses gracefully grazing in the pasture, their elegant forms silhouetted against the early morning sunrise, and a choir of birds serenading the dawn.
On this particular morning, my muse was none other than the legendary Dolly Parton, a woman whose spirit shines as bright and warm as the Texan sun. With the kind of reverence only an artist can understand, I meticulously mixed colors on my palette, my fingers moving in harmony with the music filling the room. It was Dolly's own melodies, both soothing and uplifting, that guided my brush across the canvas.
As I painted, I couldn't help but sing along with Dolly's timeless tunes, my voice blending seamlessly with the birdsong outside. The joyous chorus seemed to merge with the natural symphony, creating an otherworldly experience that transcended the boundaries of the farmhouse.
My loyal dog, a faithful companion through every artistic endeavor, lay contentedly on the weathered porch. Occasionally, one ear would perk up, as if to soak in the beauty of the moment. My hair flowed freely in the gentle breeze, and my heart felt as open and boundless as the Texas sky.
In that transcendent moment, I contemplated life's ups and downs, much like the lyrics Dolly had sung about time and time again. I thought of her famous quote: "The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with a little rain." It struck a chord deep within me, encapsulating the essence of my own journey.
With the final strokes of my brush, I titled my portrait "Rainbows and Rain." It was a tribute to Dolly Parton's indomitable spirit and a reflection of my own path, filled with its share of storms and radiant rainbows. The painting captured the essence of that morning—life's ebbs and flows, resilience, and hope—just as Dolly had a unique talent for turning life's rain into the most magnificent rainbows.
In that little old farmhouse in Northeast Texas, surrounded by the beauty of nature, my heart swelled with gratitude for the music, the art, the love, and the inspiring soul of Dolly Parton. Rag Cotton Paper prints are on Super Premium 100% cotton rag cotton paper ( the kind that lasts for 100s of years) This paper is GORGEOUS y'all. It has a soft, subtle texture and it just really looks super expensive... because it is super expensive.
The paper prints are limited edition signed and numbered collector's pieces ( hand signed by the artist in the studio). That makes them more valuable some day, we hope and pray.
The size of the print is the actual paper size. Theres a 1 inch white border around the art and the original signature and numbers are signed in the white portion at the bottom of the art.
These are not framed. It's just the fine art rag cotton paper print, signed and numbered rolled up and placed in a protective shipping tube.

Canvas prints are printed on 100% Cotton Museum Quality Canvas ( the same stuff you'd find in a fancy smancy art gallery... wait, maybe I am a fancy smancy art gallery?)
Rolled canvas prints - That just means that the wooden part doesn't come with it. It's just the canvas print rolled up and shipped in a tube like the paper one's. This is a perfect print of the original art with the edges extended a full 2.5 inches all the way around. That gives you plenty of extra for stretching your own canvas on either the skinny .75 thickness stretcher bars or the 1.5" gallery wrapped thickness. ( See the photo above on the listing to explain the differences between options.)
Stretched canvas prints - That just means that the wooden part, the framework behind the canvas, is indeed included. Stretched canvas is ready to hang right out of the box. .75 is the skinnier frame that you'd want if you're going to add a decorative frame around the canvas. You know, like a pretty, stylish, cool or funky frame. Anyway, if you want to frame your stretched canvas, go with the skinnier .75 option. If you want the gallery wrapped look, you'll want to choose the 1.5 thickness, for that thicker and bulkier side profile fine art gallery look. Both of these have finished edges all the way around so they look great right out of the box. Both are ready to hang, with or without framing.
